Privacy Policy
Iraq Jobs ("we", "the service") matches people with public job postings from Iraqi Telegram channels. This page explains what we collect, why, and what control you have.
What we collect
When you sign in we store your account identifier (email or Telegram ID), the job-preferences profile you build, and the saved/hidden jobs you act on. We log standard request metadata (IP, user-agent, request ID) for one week to debug abuse and outages.
What we don't collect
No third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, no cross-site identifiers. We do not sell or share your profile with employers, recruiters, or any other party.
Where the job data comes from
The job postings themselves are scraped from public Iraqi Telegram channels. We do not republish private chats or messages. Each posting links back to the original channel and message.
How we use your data
Your profile is the input to the ranking model that decides which postings to show you. Your email is used only for transactional messages (verification, password reset, security alerts). Telegram users receive new-match notifications through the bot, which you can pause or disable in Settings.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your profile, saved/hidden history, and identity rows immediately; encrypted backups expire on a 30-day rolling window.
